So on my deviantart account I'm thinking of setting a new section on my gallery called "Your Lines, My Colors" and it will feature all the different artwork I come across that I like that happens to be B&W line art and I will color them on my own. Here is the first entry that will go in this section, its KidNotorious's sketch and my colors. Let me know what you think by using the comments panel below.

I wasn't quite sure how long this would take me or what I wanted to do. All I knew was I wanted to make something that reflected my mood. I'm not sure it captured my mood, but it sure caught my imagination. I spent about an hour and a half straining my mind to find something that I could create and here it is. I call it "Magic's Evil Soul."

Here is a video I made giving a semi-quick overview. Keep in mind I used the smart focus instead of manually zooming, so it may be off in some places, though overall it works well.

So I just got the Camtasia Studio and I figured I would leave some thoughts on it. My first thought is that this is not only an easy to use program, but its fun to play with as well. I like how you just use the F10 key to stop recording, but what I liked even more was the editing process. All it takes is recording in full screen to get a great picture of your desktop, but the smart focus feature is freaking sweet. All you have to do is enable it and, BAM!, it zooms in on the mouse on the desktop and zooms back out when you open a window. The downside of using this is that if you want to zoom on what you type you still need to manually do it in the zoom panel. The studio comes with preset video resolutions for all kinds of formats including HD, youtube, and DVD to name a few. The one thing that I don't like probably has a fix for it, but I haven't figured it out yet. It gets incredibly choppy only when recording games. I opened up Sacred 2 and was testing it out and still got great frame rates in the game, but when I opened up the recorded file it was like I had taken screen shots every 1.5 seconds. Overall I love this program and it comes with a wealth of options built in, including the ability to record from a mic as you capture video and to record from a web cam at the same time. This is definitely my favorite screen recording software as of now and I urge you to give it a try.

The beloved month of manliness has just come to a wonderful end. I just defeated the itchy patch of fur that has called my face home for a month. While shaving this furry mess I came to realize just what an accomplishment I made this year, never before in all my attempts have I actually completed National Beard Month. (that is unless you count the years where no hair grew at all) Looking back I was overcome with a small sense of pride as I removed the badge of honor from my jaw that was 30 days in the making. Usually the constant itch of the coarse hair does me in around halfway through the month. So I now give you the final glimpse of my badge so it will be remembered at least until next year...

I don't know why I decided to do this but everyone can tag along for the ride. Normally right now I would be scouring the web in hopes of finding something to make me less bored, but I figure I can give this blogging thing a shot. I don't know what all will wind up here, but I do have some Ideas. I think I may put links to random funny crap here or possibly just host it myself, I have a feeling that I will be uploading all of my roommate and mine's art, and I think there's going to be a whole lot of random things like reviews, thoughts, and teddy bears showing up on this blog. I can't say when I will be updating posts, but be warned it could range from once a minute to once a week.
